There is 1 new case of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, and two new cases reported in the community in South Auckland.

The new managed isolation case arrived on February 14 from Kazakhstan via the United Arab Emirates. This person tested positive on day 1 of routine testing and is staying at a managed isolation facility in Auckland.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 49. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 1,984. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.


The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,613,211.

On Tuesday 17,439 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 6,466.

There are now 2,636,000 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app. The app has recorded a total of 182,799,643 poster scans. There have also been 1,024,397 manual diary entries recorded so far.
