There is 1 new case of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, none in the community.

The new case arrived on March 8 from the United States They person tested positive on day 0 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 80. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 2,054. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,795,324.

On Tuesday 8,618 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 8,341 .

There are now 2,744,508 users registered on the NZ COVID Tracer app.

The app has recorded a total of 214,458,533 poster scans. There have also been 8,351,344manual diary entries recorded so far.
