There is 1 new case of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, and none in the community.

The new managed isolation case arrived on February 16, however, the travel details are not confirmed yet. This person tested positive on day 3 of routine testing and is staying in quarantine.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 51. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 1,994. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,658,429.

On Friday 7,392 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 10,230.

There are now 2,668,308 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app. The app has recorded a total of 189,636,700 poster scans. There have also been 7,669,679 manual diary entries recorded so far.
