There is 1 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, none in the community.

The new case arrived on March 18 from Ireland via Qatar. This person tested positive on day 8 routine testing, is reported as a close contact with another case and is now staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 75. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 2,126. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,884,329.

On Saturday, 4,265 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 4,923.

There are now 2,766,471 users registered on the NZ COVID Tracer app.

The app has recorded a total of 234,215,209 poster scans. There have also been 8,834,478 manual diary entries recorded so far.
