There is 1 new case of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation. There are no new cases in the community.
Of today’s new case, they are a member of the Pakistan Cricket group and was one of the three cases that were reported as under investigation yesterday. They are now reported as a confirmed COVID-19 case.
The two other cases reported remains under investigation.
There is 1 previously reported case that has now been classed as recovered from COVID-19. The total number of active COVID-19 cases remains at 72.
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 1,704. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
There is no one in the hospital with COVID-19 in New Zealand.
Laboratories yesterday processed 7,076 tests for COVID-19 which brings the total number of tests that have been completed to date to 1,285,766.
There are now 2,390,500 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app.
The app has recorded a total of 131,187,120 poster scans. There have also been 5,301,362 manual diary entries recorded so far.
