The first new case arrived on March 14 from India via the United Arab Emirates. This person tested positive on day 0 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.
The second new case arrived on March 15 from the United States. This person tested positive on day 0 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 95. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 2,076. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,824,252.
On Monday 2,822 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 5,364.
There are now 2,753,053 users registered on the NZ COVID Tracer app.
The app has recorded a total of 222,151,500 poster scans. There have also been 8,531,899 manual diary entries recorded so far.
