There are 2 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation. There are no new cases in the community.

The first case arrived on January 24 from Japan via Direct Flight. This person tested positive at around day 0 of routine testing and is staying at a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The second case arrived on January 24 from Portugal via the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. This person tested positive at around day 0 of routine testing and is staying at a quarantine facility in Auckland.

1 previously reported case of COVID-19 has now recovered. The total number of active COVID-19 cases is now at 65.

The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 1,934. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,493,495.

On Sunday 3,582 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average of tests up to yesterday is 3,660.

There are now 2,496,000 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app. The app has recorded a total of 160,090,202 poster scans. There have also been 6,541,813 manual diary entries recorded so far.
