There are 2 new total cases of COVID-19 to report in New Zealand today.

There is 1 in the community and 1 in managed isolation.

The total number of active cases is 115. Of those, 36 are imported cases in MIQ facilities and 79 are community cases.

There are 7 people with COVID-19 in hospital today.

2 are currently in ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

There are 16 previously reported cases who are considered to have recovered today – all community cases.

The 2 new cases bring a total number of confirmed cases to 1,408, which is the number MOH (Ministry of Health) reports to the World Health Organization.
