There are 2 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation. There are no new cases in the community.

Of today’s new cases, one person arrived on 17 November from India via the United Emirates and tested positive at around day 3 of their stay in managed isolation.

The second person arrived on 19 November from the United States and tested positive at around day 3 of their stay in managed isolation.

Both cases are now at Auckland’s quarantine facility.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 53. 

The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain 1,675 at. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

There is no one in the hospital with COVID-19 in New Zealand.

Laboratories yesterday processed 3,560 tests, bringing the total number of tested completed to date to 1,237,736.

There are now 2,379,900 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app.

The app has recorded a total of 124,595,943 poster scans.
