There are 3 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, and none in the community.

First case arrived on January 28 from Germany via Doha. This person tested positive at day 12 of routine testing and is staying at a managed isolation facility in Auckland.

Second case arrived on January 30 from Tanzania via Qatar. This person tested positive at day 9 of routine testing and is staying at a managed isolation facility in Auckland.

Third case arrived on February 7 from the United Arab Emirates. This person tested positive at day 0 of routine testing and is staying at a managed isolation facility in Auckland.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 67 and the total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 1,968. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,567,952.

Yesterday 2,845 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 3,750.

There are now 2,562,034 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app. The app has recorded a total of 175,268,314 poster scans. There have also been 603,000 manual diary entries recorded so far.
