There are 3 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, none in the community.
The first new case arrived on March 21 from Ethiopia. This person tested positive on day 1 routine testing and are staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.
The second new case arrived on March 21 from India via the United Arab Emirates. This person tested positive on day 1 routine testing and are staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.
The last new case arrived on March 22 from Indonesia via Singapore. This person tested positive on day 0 routine testing and are staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 67. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 2,114. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,861,752.
On Tuesday, 6,436 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 4,493.
There are now 2,762,129 users registered on the NZ COVID Tracer app.
The app has recorded a total of 230,443,004 poster scans. There have also been 8,738,480 manual diary entries recorded so far.
