There are 3 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, and none in the community.
The first case arrived on January 29 but details from origin are to be confirmed, via Singapore. This person tested positive at day 3 of routine testing and is staying at a managed isolation facility in Auckland.
The second case arrived on February 1 from the United States. This person tested positive at day 0/1 of routine testing and is staying at a managed isolation facility in Christchurch.
The third case arrived on January 24 from Indonesia. This person tested positive shore/leave and took a departure swab. They are staying on a ship.
12 previously reported cases of COVID-19 has now recovered. The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 61.
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 1,952. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,541,701.
Yesterday 4,106 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 5,342.
