306 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported today in the community in New Zealand.
Since the start of the pandemic in the country, the total confirmed cases are 18,460. There are currently 2,470 active cases.
There are 12 new community cases in Northland, 216 in Auckland, 48 in Waikato, 4 in Tairāwhiti, 7 in Bay of Plenty, 6 in Lakes, 2 in MidCentral, 5 in Taranaki, 3 in Hutt Valley and 3 in Capital and Coast districts (or regions). 30 were identified at the border.
12 cases are reported as staying in hospital, and none are in ICU. 1 case is in North Shore Hospital, 5 in Middlemore, 2 in Auckland, 1 in Rotorua, 1 in Bay of Plenty, 2 in Christchurch.

In the last twenty-four hours, 27,425 tests were processed across the country, while the seven-day rolling average has reached 18,443.
Vaccine statistics:
So far, there have been 4,049,971 first doses and 3,977,640 second doses administered. 1,723,253 booster doses have also been administered. Yesterday 782 first doses and 1,568 second doses were administered. 56,257 booster doses were administered.
In the Mâori population, there have been 515,311 first doses and 490,772 second doses administered.
