The fourth case arrived on February 17 from Morocco via France and Singapore. This person tested positive on day 0 of routine testing and is staying in a Christchurch quarantine facility. *This is a historical case.
The fifth case arrived on February 18 from the United States. This person tested positive on day 0 of routine testing and is staying in a Christchurch quarantine facility. *This is a historical case.
The sixth case arrived on February 18 from Colombia via the United States. This person tested positive on day 0 of routine testing and is staying in a Christchurch quarantine facility. *This is a historical case.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 54. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 2,001. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,662,321.
On Sunday 3,882 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 10,338.
There are now 2,671,646 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app. The app has recorded a total of 7,704,970 poster scans. There have also been 1,397,316 manual diary entries recorded so far.
