There is 7 new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation, none in the community.

The first new case arrived on March 11 from the Netherlands via Qatar. This person tested positive on day 2 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Hamilton. *This person is symptomatic.

The second new case arrived on March 12 from Singapore. This person tested positive on day 1 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland. *Full travel details are pending.

The third and fourth new cases arrived on March 13 from India via the United Arab Emirates. They both tested positive on day 0 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The fifth new case arrived on March 13 from Pakistan via the United Arab Emirates. This person tested positive on day 0 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The sixth new case arrived on March 13 from Singapore. This person tested positive on day 1 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland. *Full travel details are pending.

The seventh new case arrived on March 13 from Qatar. This person tested positive on day 0 and is staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland. *Full travel details are pending.

The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 93. The total confirmed COVID-19 cases are now at 2,074. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

The total number of tests that have been completed to date is 1,821,426.

On Sunday 2,440 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling average for tests that have been processed up to yesterday is now at 5,464.

There are now 2,751,806 users registered on the NZ COVID Tracer app.

The app has recorded a total of 221,019,392 poster scans. There have also been 8,504,040 manual diary entries recorded so far.
