According to authorities, a 95-year-old woman and her son, aged 64, were both found dead in a luxury apartment in Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
Police went to the 535 W. on 23rd St. after the woman's daughter reported that should could not get in touch with anyone inside.
They checked on the apartment at around 3pm and entered to find the mother and son dead in separate bedrooms.
Reports indicated that the mother died before her son, who was dead for several days.
Febreze bottles were found lying throughout the apartment, and several other bottles of Tylenol were found in the son's room.
