Air Chathams announced to the public that flights would resume from May 24th!! The Kāpiti Coast to Auckland flight service will be operating again on Sunday.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions interrupting flights temporarily for the last couple of months, but Air Chathams is back in Kapiti operating once again.
Flights will have precautions in place.
All flights will be taken on a Saab 340, which can seat up to 36 people; down to 25 per flight due to social distancing limitations. If people are flying together, this can be eased, allowing Air Chathams to overbook on seats slightly.
