OPINION: Alan Simmons, Co-leader of the New Zealand Outdoors and bogus freedoms political Party, is a racist. He knows it.

A post he made to Facebook outlines what he thought of the current Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern. She's led the country through many struggles, and the Covid-19 pandemic, which has been the brink of it all.

Many far-right leaning conservatives, like Simmons and his counterpart anti-vaccine activist Sue Grey, a lawyer who failed to contest the government and stop the Covid-19 vaccination rollout earlier this year, are using social media platforms to spread their message of hate toward the government and divide between the population of New Zealand.

Because they both cannot get their own way after losing endless High Court cases in Wellington, there seems to be a little disconnect with reality.

Simmons and Grey have led innocent people into a rabbit hole full of mistruths. It's a tragic reality they've created and continue to divulge discreetly for money. Grifting.

That is, a world where stopping vaccines is supposedly acceptable. The whole dilemma has led to baseless conspiracy theories and dangerous allegations the government is out to get them for rolling out the life-saving vaccines.

Vaccines help reduce severe symptoms of the virus and prevent high numbers of hospitalisations from occurring.

The more vaccinated means life will return to normality but what's stopping this from happening are the individuals inciting dis/misinformation at how the government has responded to the pandemic to an influenced audience believing their mistruths.

It's undeniably a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

-So, Simmons is racist.
The post he made to Facebook calls Ardern a “callous cow” after the Ministry of Health announced it will be assigning 300 Managed Isolation and Quarantine spots for health care workers coming into the country from overseas. More experienced, trained staff in hospitals will help manage surges of those who will take up hospital beds if they've caught the virus.

The Delta variant spreading in the community has been a cause of concern because of its high transmissibility, and as the country reopens under a new traffic light scheme and framework, it is expected many unvaccinated could catch it and come down with very severe symptoms and become hospitalised. But he doesn't get that.

“[Ardern] is bringing in nurses and teachers from overseas urgently, so she can fire kiwis and put them on the dole, and take their houses,” Simmons alleges.

“What a bi**h. Tell you what, when people are desperate they have nothing to loose. You are then on a path to revolution.”

Furthermore, he adds that children will be taught “by an Indian who has no idea of our history” — as a registered political party leader and figure, who in the right mind is allowed to spit out words so disgusting? He doesn't deserve a platform, and the fact that Facebook allows it is absurd.

I called for his political party to be de-registered for his acts in the public domain on my personal Facebook page.

Sam, please don’t discredit Alan or Sue. They are really lovely people.
They are fighting for the freedoms of all New Zealanders. A lot sickness will come from the jab. This is already a proven fact from international data.
You are young, you have much to learn about the world.
