Police launched an appeal to the public for sightings of 18-year-old Kylie White after going missing from her Bombay home address yesterday, south of Auckland.

Kylie was last seen at around 6pm at her residence. She was reported missing by her family shortly after not being located.

Police undertook a number of enquiries.

She was believed to have taken a ride into Pukekohe and dropped off at the Z station, walking off with intentions to go to Auckland.

It was noted Kylie has Aspergers and learning difficulties. Her family had concerns for her wellbeing and welfare and wanted to ensure she was safe.

Police released a statement to the press on Thursday that she was located.

“Thanks to information from the public, Police have been able to locate the 18-year-old who was reported missing from her Bombay home last night,” the statement said.

“She was found safe and well at an address in Pukekohe this afternoon. Police would like to thank those people who contacted us with information to help find her.”
