Police on Monday made one arrest after an alleged illegal gathering was held in the Redvale suburb of Auckland's North Shore.
The gathering was held on Sunday — an Instagram influencer party at a property in the area — blatantly ignored and breached the Covid-19 Alert Level 3 restrictions.
A 27-year-old man, alleged to have organised the illegal gathering, was arrested and charged with Failing to Comply with the Covid-19 Public Health Response Act (Alert Level Requirements) Order (No 12) 2021.
He is scheduled to appear in the North Shore District Court on October 22, to face the charge.

Video of the party goers surfaced on social media platforms of people gathered in large groups breaking the Level 3 restrictions.
It is understood that there was no one attending wearing masks or social distancing.
Further enquiries into the gathering is ongoing. No other individuals involved are being ruled out, sought, for action or attendance.
People can report a breach by visiting the government's Unite Against Covid-19 website.
