You’ve read the title right! Cadbury released a limited edition Chocolate Block that’s called PINKY, it’s in support of celebrating 10 years of Cadbury in partnership with New Zealand’s Breast Cancer Foundation.

Cadbury is raising awareness for the many ways of supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation, so people can get stuck into the Pink Ribbon appeal. The Chocolate Block is inspired by the PINKY mini-chocolate sticks that you can usually buy near the counter at any Supermarket or Servo.

The new block is aiming to allow New Zealanders to ‘think pink’ and get involved with the Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon street appeal, organising groups to spread the message and support the movement.

A donation of NZD $80,000 will be given to the Breast Cancer Foundation from Cadbury to assist in growing the education sector and support programmes of the organisation.

The Breast Cancer Foundation knows that they play a large role in supporting New Zealanders who are at most impacted by breast cancer.

Jo Turner of Cadbury New Zealand says, “The special-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Pinky Block is our way of giving back to Breast Cancer Foundation, helping to raise awareness and encouraging Kiwis to get involved in the 2020 Pink Ribbon Appeal.”

The Block called PINKY features ‘delicious pieces of pink marshmallow and chewy caramel chips’ — now that’s something to live for!

The Chief Executive of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ Evangelia Henderson knows how important it is to support breast cancer patients.

“Breast cancer affects the lives of so many New Zealanders. The backing our organisation receives is crucial in enabling us to help look after Kiwis going through breast cancer, as well as their family and friends. We’re thankful to have had a long-term partner like Cadbury in our team.”

“This new Block inspired by Cadbury Pinky and generous donation is a great way of marking our enduring relationship right before Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.”

The retail cost for this Chocolate Block is $3.36.
