There is one new case of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation. There are no new cases in the community.

Today’s case arrived in New Zealand from Singapore on November 11 and tested positive at around day 3 while in managed isolation. They are going to be transferred to Auckland’s quarantine facility today.

One previously confirmed case from managed isolation has been ‘reclassified’ and is being put under investigation as it is a suspected historical case.


The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 58.

The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 1,645. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

There is no one in the hospital with COVID-19 in New Zealand.

Laboratories yesterday processed 5,298 tests, bringing the total number of tested completed to date to 1,184,885.

There are now 2,364,900 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app.

The app has recorded a total of 116,664,548 poster scans, and users have created a total of 4,839,697 manual diary entries.
