There are 11 new cases of COVID-19 to report in New Zealand today.
All of the new cases are reported in managed isolation facilities.
Five of these cases were a part of day 6 testing of the international fishing crew in Christchurch.

Of the other cases reported today that were detected in managed isolation, one involves a family group of two people who arrived from Amsterdam via Singapore.
The other cases involve two recent arrivals from the United Kingdom and one who arrived from the United Arab Emirates. All six cases returned positive test results on day 3.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is currently 74.
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 1,578. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
