22 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported today in the community, while 1 has been reported in managed isolation.

The Total confirmed cases are 3,725 since the start of the pandemic in the country.

Total community cases reported in Auckland are now at 1,051 (677 have recovered), this includes 3 in Whakatīwai — Wellington remains at 17  (all have recovered).

Out of this cluster, 1,039 have been identified as epi-linked to another case or sub-cluster, with 12 being reported as unlinked over the last fortnight.

16 cases are reported as staying in hospital, 4 are in ICU. One case is in North Shore Hospital, ten are in Middlemore Hospital and five are in Auckland City Hospital.

New cases in MIQ:
The new case arrived on September 10from United Kingdom via United Arab EmiratesTested positive on day 9 of routine testing as they are a contact of a case and staying in an Auckland facility

Testing numbers:
Laboratories have processed a total of 3,240,635 tests to date.

In the last twenty-four hours, 8,084 tests were processed across the country, while the seven-day rolling average up to yesterday is at 13,104.

COVID Tracer statistics:
On the NZ COVID Tracer app, 3,233,881 users are now registered, recording a total of 370,812,131 poster scans.

There have been 16,630,176 manual diary entries done so far.

In the last 24 hours to midday yesterday, 2,152,609 scans were processed.

Vaccine statistics:
So far there's been a total of 4,711,410 administered. Out of this, 3,092,737 first doses and 1,618,673 second doses have been administered across the country.

Yesterday 26,673 first doses and 12,528 second doses were administered.
