8 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported today in the community, while 3 have been identified at the border. One historical case has also been included in today's report.
The total confirmed cases are 3,838 since the start of the pandemic in the country.
Total community cases reported in Auckland are now at 1,168 (965 have recovered), this includes 4 in Upper Whakatīwai — Wellington remains at 17 (all have recovered).
Out of this cluster, 1,156 have been identified as epi-linked to another case or sub-cluster, with 7 being reported as unlinked or not yet epi-linked over the last fortnight.
14 cases are reported as staying in hospital, 3 are in ICU. Two cases are in North Shore Hospital, six are in Middlemore Hospital and six are in Auckland City Hospital.

Laboratories have processed a total of 3,346,490 tests to date.
