On Friday, 10th of April 2020, Director of Public Health, Dr. Caroline McElnay
said that the current Coronavirus cases have risen to 1,283 from 1,239.
44 new cases. 23 new confirmed, 21 new probable cases. 14 of the new 44 cases are linked to existing clusters with investigations on going.
16 people in hospital, 4 in ICU one each in Wellington, Waitemata, Counties Manakau, and southern DHBs. 2 of these ICU patients and Sourthern Waitemata are in a critical condition.
The total combined number of confirmed and probable cases in 1,283.
373 cases report of Covid-19 have now recovered. Increase of 56 on yesterday.
More people are recovering than combined confirmed cases.

Still seeing a strong but declining link to over seas travel at 40%
On going links to cases within New Zealand at 44%
