There is one new imported case of COVID-19 to report New Zealand today.
There are no cases to report in the community.
The one new case is a person who arrived in Auckland on October 19 from the United Kingdom via Qualumpa on flight EK 448. That person is in Auckland’s quarantine facility.
Seven other cases have recovered which brings the total number of active COVID-19 cases to 68.
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 1,585. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.
There is no one in the hospital with COVID-19 in New Zealand.
Laboratories yesterday processed 2,311 tests, bringing the total number of tests processed to date to 1,072,492.
