One new case of Covid-19 has been reported by the Ministry of Health today, which is Historical. None have been reported in the community.

The total number of active Covid-19 cases is 23. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases has been unchanged and remains at 2,353.

They are the numbers that the Ministry reports to the World Health Organisation.

Case arrivals:
This new case is an individual who underwent a pre-departure test before leaving New Zealand.

*Cases such as this one which is Historical are not considered to be infectious.

 

 

 

Testing statistics:
Laboratories have processed a total of 2,200,141 tests to date.

Yesterday, 2,694 were processed, while the seven-day rolling average up to yesterday is 4,031.

COVID Tracer statistics:
On the NZ COVID Tracer app, 2,851,654 users are now registered, recording a total of 285,094,661 poster scans.

There have been 10,824,081 manual diary entries done so far.

In the last 24 hours to midday yesterday, 442,833 scans were processed.
