There are two new cases of COVID-19 to report today in managed isolation. There are no new cases in the community.

Of today’s new cases, the first person arrived from Moscow via London, Qatar and Brisbane on 14 November.

The second person arrived from Dubai on 14 November.


The total number of active COVID-19 cases is 37. “We have seen a large number of cases recovered this week, with 29 recoveries to announce today,” said the Ministry of Health.

The total confirmed COVID-19 cases remain at 1,654. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

There is no one in the hospital with COVID-19 in New Zealand.

Laboratories yesterday processed 8,665 tests, bringing the total number of tested completed to date to 1,208,091.

There are now 2,372,000 users registered on NZ COVID Tracer app.

The app has recorded a total of 119,725,227 poster scans, and users have created a total of 4,939,520 manual diary entries.
