A crash has occurred on SH2 (State Highway 2) at Tauranga’s Harbour Bridge at around 4:30 pm, blocking one lane.
The crash has caused eastbound traffic delays.
At around 4:50 pm, congestion grew in the area.
NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) is advising people to delay their journey if possible or use alternative routes while the scene gets cleaned up.

The crash was cleared at around 5:45 pm, however, traffic congestion remained between Waihi Rd and the Harbour Bridge.
