Police have launched a homicide investigation following a death of a person in Blenheim early Sunday morning.
The person had died after an incident on Market St — Police were called to the disorder at around 2.55am.
Two people were seriously injured and transported to Hospital. They remain in a condition of seriousness.
Several people are being spoken to in relation to the incident, and an investigation is underway. Scene examinations were conducted on Sunday.
The scene remained cordoned off with Police presence in the area to keep the community safe, and to get an understanding of these types of incidents.
