The American Electoral College has announced Joe Biden as the winner from the race to 270 of the November 3 elections.

California cast its 55 votes to put the former vice-president over the 270 mark needed to claim the winning spot.

Biden amassed 306 points while the current President, Donald J Trump, had 232.

A reminder that the final tally from all 50 states and the District of Columbia will be accumulated during a joint session of Congress on January 6, 2021.

President Trump told Fox in an interview that it is not over regardless of the Electoral College results and Supreme Court decisions on Sunday (US).
