Elliot Ikilei announced on social media early Thursday morning at around 3:00 am on Twitter that he resigned as leader of the New Conservatives party.
In the Tweet, a statement was posted concerning his resignation and wished the party’s board to continue defending conservatism in New Zealand.
“I have resigned my leadership of New Conservative, knowing that the board & wider party will still defend conservatism in our society,” Elliot Ikilei said.
“We Conservatives will continue to defend life, freedom & sovereignty from the insidiousness of Progressivism.”
Elliot says he will continue to expose attacks on free speech in future, including the institutionalised degradation of empathy and equality.
