Facebook bans GOP Senate Campaigns, but not Democrats before Georgia Runoffs

Facebook reportedly banned GOP Senate Campaigns as a mistake but not Democrat Campaigns before the upcoming Georgia Runoffs.

Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue were removed days before voters would go to the polls and decide between Republicans and their Democratic opposers.

Georgia’s Battleground Fund is run by the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), a fundraising committee for the NRSC and the two Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue campaigns.


Their pages campaigns were disabled over policy violations of unacceptable business practices.

“We don’t allow ads that promote products, services, schemes, or offers using deceptive or misleading practices, including those meant to mislead or scam people out of money or personal information,” read the alert.

The campaigns that were disabled and the pages are now restored. It was a ‘mistake’ according to Facebook sources,
