Social Media platforms Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were experiencing an outage and was reportedly down.

Users started to report the issue shortly after 9:30 am, being unable to refresh their feeds or use the platforms.

Upon loading each website, one message displayed on Facebook said: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it, and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”

For Instagram, a message says: “Couldn’t refresh feed” — while WhatsApp reads: “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”

The outage seemed to affect Facebook’s internal websites but recovered at around 9:43 am.
