Emergency Services responded to a fatal crash on State Highway 57 near Levin.
The crash was reported at around 1:45 pm.

The crash involved a car and a truck at the intersection of Arapaepae Road and Tararua Road.
Kimberley Road and Arapaepae Road was blocked to north and southbound traffic, except residents that live in the area.
A diversion was in place going west of Tararua Road to State Highway 1 from State Highway 57 southbound.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
