A serious crash occurred south of Hastings in Te Hauke on Wednesday morning. Four people have been injured from the crash.
Emergency services were notified shortly after 10am of the crash involving a car and a truck at the intersection of Te Onepu Road and State Highway 2.
Initial reports indicate three people sustained minor to moderate injuries, while a fourth person sustained serious injuries.

Only one lane of the road was open, with traffic management put in place.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area due to possible delays.
The road reopened at around 11.30am.
