There are four new cases of Covid-19 to report today in managed isolation and none in the community.

The first new case arrived on April 24 from Pakistan via the United Arab Emirates. This person tested positive as being a close contact of another case at around day 8 of routine testing and is now staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The second new arrived on April 30 from the Philippines via Singapore. This person tested positive at around day 1 of routine testing and is now staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

A third reported case arrived on April 30 from Indonesia via Singapore. This person tested positive at around day 0 of routine testing and is now staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

Lastly, the fourth new case arrived on April 30 from Indonesia via Singapore. This person tested positive at around day 0 of routine testing and is now staying in a quarantine facility in Auckland.

The total number of active Covid-19 cases is 25 as three have previously recovered. The total confirmed Covid-19 cases are now at 2,266. This is the number that the Ministry of Health reports to the World Health Organisation.

Laboratories have processed a total of 2,029,196 tests to date. On Sunday 2,246 were processed while the seven-day rolling average up to yesterday is 3,779.

On the NZ COVID Tracer app, 2,807,036 users are now registered, recording a total of 260,853,069 poster scans. There have also been 9,761,852 manual diary entries done so far.
