Diverse Church is set to open New Zealand’s Rainbow Christian Conference with Deputy Prime Minister Hon Grant Robertson.

The 2021 Awaken rainbow faith gathering will include a formal welcoming in Parliament Building’s Grand Hall on March 26 at 7 pm.

For two days, the conference will run at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Wellington on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 of this month.

Speakers will include Green MP Dr Elizabeth Kerekere, human rights specialist Andre Afamasaga and Professor Emeritus Dr Peter Lineham.

Workshops for the wider programme will include queer technology, mental health, QSA groups in religious high schools and gender diversity information.
