Horowhenua is getting their 2020 Santa parade ready, but this year it will be themed as a ‘Grinchy Christmas’ due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The parade will be happening on Saturday, November 28 in Levin beginning at 4 pm from York St following through to Oxford St, then ending at Durham St.
Some roads will be closed to allow for the parade to proceed, where floats will be able to have room to traverse through, putting a show on for families.
After the parade, the Levin Adventure Park fun begins with a Christmas Carnival, live entertainment and an Activity Zone from around 4:45 pm.
A giant slide, obstacle course, games, photo booths, bubbles are all being supplied for free as top-notch enjoyment for the whole family.
This year as part of the ‘Grinchy Theme’, prizes will be given out for those who have the best dress-up-look.
