Kiwibank's online internet banking service has been down for some customers since Tuesday morning.
The Bank has been experiencing a number of issues recently over the last week. The most recent downage has been occurring since Monday morning.
“Some customers may be able to access our services, and some may have issues from time to time,” a statement on Monday said.
Another statement was released the following morning, Tuesday. It said the issue still persists.
Teams have been continuing to prioritise a fix for the intermittent issues as they continue to occur for some customers trying to access their accounts.
thisquality tried to log into online internet banking, and it appeared with an error page of details with no expected timeframe for the fix.
“Apologies, our digital banking services are currently unavailable. Our teams are working hard to get this fixed. Please check our social media channels for the latest status updates.”
A number of other banks, organisations and government firms such as ANZ Bank, New Zealand Post, MetService and New Zealand Police have been facing Distributed Denial of Service attacks throughout the week.
