Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern (and Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield) is set to address New Zealand at 4:30 pm following two new COVID-19 Community Cases that were identified in South Auckland.

The decision will be made on whether lockdown Alert Levels will be changed or stay for longer to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.

Last week, three new cases were identified in the community. The new cases allowed the Government to change alert levels as a precaution by going ‘hard and early’
