A magnitude 4.7 earthquake has shaken most of the lower North Island, Thursday.
The quake struck at around 1.10pm 40k east of Stratford and struck at a depth of 200k.
It was reportedly felt widely across the Wellington, Manawatū/Wanganui and Taranaki regions.
Over 680 people reported feeling it. Weak being 538, light 132 and moderate at 13.
