Public health testing in New Zealand has widened due to the risk it could pose on the community if an aircrew member were to suddenly contract the virus and bring it here.

The defence against COVID-19 is playing a key role in protecting the community.

Any aircrew members are required to stay in managed isolation for the duration of their layover while in New Zealand.
