Eighty-three new cases of Covid-19 have been reported today in the community, while two have been reported in managed isolation. 82 are in Auckland, and 1 is in Wellington.
The total number of active cases in New Zealand is 511. Total confirmed cases are 3,108 since the start of the pandemic in the country.
Total community cases reported in Auckland are now at 496 — Wellington remains is now at 15. The new case in Wellington is a close contact of an existing case that was in isolation
Out of this cluster, 453 have been identified as epi-linked to another case or sub-cluster, with a further 58, which are yet to be established.
511 cases are currently linked to the community outbreak. All cases have or are being transferred safely to a managed isolation facility, under strict infection prevention and control procedures. Use of full PPE gear has been applied.
34 of the community cases are reported as staying in hospital, 32 are in stable condition on a ward and two are in ICU but also in a stable condition. Three cases are in North Shore Hospital, 17 are in Middlemore Hospital, 13 are in Auckland City Hospital, and one is in Wellington Regional Hospital.

Laboratories have processed a total of 2,951,303 tests to date.
Yesterday, 23,139 were processed across the country, while a seven-day rolling average up to yesterday is at 37,031.
