Police seeked help from the public to locate a 76-year-old woman from Dannemora in East Auckland.
Jillian Vause was reported as missing from an address on Chapel Road, shortly before 7 pm on April 28.
Authorities conducted a number of enquiries around the Dannemora and Howick areas, including assistance from the Police Eagle Helicopter.
She was later located safe and well in the nearby area on the morning of April 29.
“Police would like to thank the community for their support in sharing our earlier appeal,” said a Police spokesperson to thisquality.
