Emergency services responded to reports of a crash on State Highway 1 in Levin, Horowhenua, Thursday evening.
The crash occurred at around 6pm just past the intersection of Bath Street and Oxford Street across from the Salvation Army building.
Two Police units, one Fire and Emergency truck and St John Ambulance attended the scene.
A truck and motorcyclist were involved in the incident.
The motorcyclist was injured after the truck reportedly hit them.
A spokesperson for St John did not immediately respond about what type of injuries the person sustained.
Police said to thisquality enquiries will be made into the circumstances of the crash.
