ATTICA Otaki Candidate Michael Kay breaks down how chemical agriculture is worse for soil, after doing a water ‘drain test’ that acts like a sponge. The test compares how much time each soil type drains, the faster it drains means the soil is healthier and has fewer chemicals, especially comparing how muggy the water looks.
The three soil types contained samples of 30+ years with no fertiliser or chemicals, five years of healthy regenerating and soil that’s run down with chemical agriculture with no regeneration what-so-ever.
