Naturists on National Nude Gardening Day starting this Saturday in the Labour weekend, will be stripping butt naked.
Though, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they'll need to keep their masks on. The National Gardening Week begins from October 18 to 25 in hopes to show full force of the movement being with the birds, bees, and of course being outside feeling the coolness of gardening naked.
New Zealand's Naturist Federation moved the day to be an international day within the Gardening week many years ago. They've been celebrating for the last 60 years with over 1,600 members.

Wendy Lowe, Naturist Federation president, says the day is about getting closer to nature and having some fun.
“Labour Weekend is always marked on the calendar as the date to get the kit off, spruce up your bushes and plant up the vegie garden,” Lowe said.
“All our clubs around the country will be getting it off and getting into the garden to plant an extra row. While the weather is never guaranteed to be warm, we have some very brave members.”
The theme of this year is ‘Grow to give', encouraging people to grow-an-extra-row. Also donate surplus veggies to families in need or through a local food bank.
