New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) announced their newest Head of Digital Audio, James Butcher.

Mr Butcher will be leading iHeartRadio of NZME’s podcasts to ‘unleash’ a new power of the digital audio platforms they run for New Zealanders.

Advertisers will have a hit outcome using their platform of a stronger cross-platform of NZME’s assets and content productions.


An extensive digital media and sales leadership is the outcome of Mr Butcher’s experience he brings, from being a current General Manager of Digital Media at FCB New Zealand. 

Mr Butcher has had a history of working in Australia, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand; further specialising in Microsoft Advertising,

“It’s an exciting time to be joining the team at NZME – a brilliant and unique collection of talent and brands that connect with all of New Zealand every day,” Mr Butcher says.

The role for Mr Butcher will be starting in February of 2021.
